Rummaging about online led to the horrific discovery that my CD-ROMs may be too old-school for all this newfangled gadgetry, that I perforce must avail myself of the very latest and greatest in software iterations, and that you folk were actually helpful when it came to these matters. Fortunately I still have my Compact OED on the mantelpiece, though I may have trouble fully opening it upon the small table pierced by a large umbrella at the local coffee shop where I so oft write.
